NURSERY ADMISSIONS (30 places)

Bredbury St Mark's Nursery has 3 intakes, throughout the school year. These intakes are in September, January or at Easter following your child's third birthday.

September 2027 intake

To apply for a September 2027 start, your child must have been born between 1st September 2023 and 31st August 2024.

The closing date for nursery places is 31st March 2027.

Stockport Local Authority will send you an email with information about the outcome of your application on 24th May 2027.

If you apply after 31st March 2027 your application will be processed after 24th May 2026.

Early intake - January and Easter.

You'll automatically be considered for the early intake if your child is born between the dates below and if you apply by the deadlines below.

• if the child is born between 1st September 2023 and 31st December 2023
  • considered for a place starting January 2027
  • deadline to apply by 31st October 2026
  • you'll receive your offer end of November 2026

If you apply after 31st October 2026 your child will not be considered for a nursery place for January 2027 but will be considered for the subsequent April and September 2027 intakes.

• if the child is born between 1st September 2023 and 31st March 2024
  • considered for a place starting April 2027
  • deadline to apply by  31st January 2027
  • you'll receive your offer beginning of March 2027

If you apply after 15th February 2027 your child will not be considered for a nursery place for April 2027 but will be processed as part of the subsequent September 2027 intake.

RECEPTION Admissions (30 PLACES - allocated places per year group)

A place in our Nursery does not guarantee a place in a reception class.The admission procedure has to be applied again. Children are admitted to our Reception in September at the age of 4. Places are allocated by the local authority as long as parents have completed an online application form the previous year. Parents are informed of their allocated place at the start of April, ready for their child to start in September. Allocation of places is based on Stockport‘s admission procedure.
