Year One 2023 - 2024

Mrs Hall

Teacher

Mrs Bebbington

When you reach Year One, you may ask 'Where has my baby gone?'

They're waking from their slumbers, singing nursery rhymes and numbers.

School bags packed and off they go, into our classroom to learn and grow.

Do not worry, we will take it from here. There have been some changes 'Oh what a year?'

Welcoming you in Monday through to Thursday, is our wonderful Mrs Hall, to tell her favourite fairytales, is our lovely and calm Mrs Dugdale.

No chance to be lazy, though she is a little crazy.

She is animal mad and house a zoo, that she loves to bring in to share with you!

Waiting at home is a daughter and son, ready to hear about todays fun!

Not the tidiest of people, she likes to leave a mess but, oh you have got see her in fancy dress.

Then with Mrs Bebbington at the end of the week, they will be sure to have a ball.

A proud mum to little Norah and Nancy, the kids can't wait to run on in.

So patient, caring, kind and fun, glittery pencils by the ton.

She dreams up treasures to create, 100 things with paper plates.

Making, sticking, cutting and drawing. Lessons with Mrs Bebbington are never boring.

Helping us each day is Mrs. Pugh our Teaching Assistant.

But the stars of the show are the little people you know.

They are cheeky, fun and charming, their characters disarming.

Year One are busy all day long, PE lessons and music, they love to sing a song.

At 3.20, we send them on their way.

Their happy little voices sharing stories from their day.

How proud we all are, they've done their best,

BUT Year One teachers need a rest!
