Church Links
There are many links between Bredbury St. Mark’s School and St. Mark’s Church. Every year the school dedicates a week to visiting the church at Easter. Every child goes across to participate in a variety of activities, using the church building and grounds as an extended learning environment.
The Lords Prayer
Here at St Marks we made a special video to remember the Lords Prayer. We used it during church week to remember what is important. Watch it below.
Andy Bull, the vicar, delivers a weekly worship at Church and the children also attend church for important Christian festivals such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter. Parents are invited on some of these occasions. Further visits to church take place when the children are invited by Andy and his wife Ruth, for storytelling sessions, where the children learn Bible stories in a fun and interactive way. Andy is on the school governing body and is the link RE governor, liaising with members of staff.
