I am thrilled to join St Mark’s as a new teacher in Year 3/4 this year and become part of such a welcoming school community. Having previously taught Year 2 at another school, I am really looking forward to working in Lower Key Stage 2 and supporting your children through this next stage of their learning as they grow in confidence and skill.

Across the week, Year 3/4 will be supported by four fantastic teaching assistants on a rota. Since they already know many of the children well, having them in class at different points during the week will provide brilliant support for everyone.

One of my favourite things about primary teaching is getting to teach every subject in the curriculum, and Geography and PE are especially close to my heart. Growing up in Kendal, the Lake District was my playground, so I have a love for the outdoors and active learning! Outside of school, I am busy keeping up with my young son, who has also just started his own school journey.
