School Meals

Our healthy, nutritious school meals are provided by Dolce. They specialise in freshly prepared school meals and as far as possible procure their produce locally. Lunchtime is more than a nutritious meal, it is an opportunity for your child to relax and socialise, able to choose from a menu which they find appealing. It is important that each and every child enjoys their meal and has the energy to study and learn in the afternoon.

Children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 - (KS1)

You may be aware that the government introduced the universal free school meal initiative from September 2014. This means that all children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal. To make sure that each child gets the meal of their choice you have the opportunity to pre-order the meal. All you have to do is provide a working email address to the school office, who will arrange for your Live Kitchen account to be created.

Children In Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 - (KS2)

To ensure that your child gets the meal of their choice there is the opportunity to pre-order the meal online. All you have to do to set up your own pre-order account is to log onto https://app.schoolgrid.co.uk/ . Once you have done this you can choose the following payment options:

Payment through Debit Card if you pay for school dinners

You will automatically receive a parent login which gives you the opportunity to check your balance online, view your child’s choices and look up recipes to see what is in them.

 Pay by Debit Card:

Payment by card is required in advance and you can top up your account as often as you like to ensure that your account is always in credit.

If you are entitled to Free School Meals

Your child will still have the opportunity to pre-order their meal so that they get the meal of their choice. All you have to do is provide a working email address to the school office, who will then arrange for your Live Kitchen account to be created.
