Year Six 2026 - 2027
Mrs Nichol
Teacher
Mrs Bebbington
Welcome to Year 6.
We're Mrs Bebbington and Mrs Nichol - your child's Year 6 teachers.
As you have probably noticed, we are a job share. Mrs Nichol will be teaching the children Monday-Wednesday and Mrs Bebbington will be teaching them Thursday-Friday.
A little bit about Mrs Bebbington:
I'm Mrs Bebbington and this year will be my 14th year in teaching - and at St Mark's. I have 2 children, Norah who is 6 and Nancy who is 3. Some of you may know that in recent years I have worked with the younger children so the leap to year 6 is a bit of a change. However, KS2 is where I have spent most of my teaching career so your children are in good hands!
A little bit about Mrs Nichol:
It was a pleasure to teach the children last year in Year 5 and I am looking forward to teaching them again this year in their final year with us at Bredbury St Mark's. This year will be my 12th year teaching and I have spent almost all those year teaching in UKS2. Some things to know about me: I also have 2 young children and enjoy dancing and swimming in my spare time.
We are lucky enough to have a number of fantastic member of staff working with us and your children across the week.
Mr Clayton will be with the class on a Wednesday afternoon. During this time he will be teaching them PSHE and PE.
Mrs Nicklin will be working with us Monday-Wednesday and Mrs Curran Thursday-Friday.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do speak with us both or another member of the class team. We are looking forward to working with both yourselves and your children to make their final year at St Mark's a successful one that they will remember.
Thank you
Mrs Bebbington, Mrs Nichol, Mrs Nicklin, Mrs Curran and Mr Clayton
