Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities (SFSC)
Please see the following information from Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities (SFSC) who are launching in Stockport this autumn.
SFSC is a free, evidence-based parenting programme designed to support parents and carers of children aged 10–16 years. The programme runs over 13 weeks during term time, with weekly 3-hour sessions delivered by trained facilitators.
The programme helps parents and carers to:
- Strengthen family relationships
- Build positive parenting skills
- Develop a greater understanding of child and adolescent development
- Boost children's confidence and social skills
- Manage challenges and improve family wellbeing

Places are limited, so we encourage families to express their interest as early as possible.
