Computing

At St Mark’s we teach Computing using the key skills and long term plan, we aim to teach computing through other subjects and they are usually closely linked to English and Topic, as and when appropriate. Our key skills are broken into three areas, E-Safety, Technology and Programming.

St Mark’s also have a team of children called the Digital Leaders from Years 5 and 6. The Digital Leader team is led by the children themselves and they meet weekly to discuss what needs improving within school regarding computing. Part of the Digital Leaders role is monitoring our ‘Zone’ within school.
